What to Expect
When you arrive for your diagnostic ultrasound, our friendly staff will greet you and ensure all necessary waivers and forms are complete. We’ll guide you to our comfortable exam room, where a trained sonographer will perform your ultrasound using our advanced imaging technology. Most ultrasound appointments last between 30-60 minutes, depending on the type of scan. Throughout the exam, the sonographer will apply a warm gel to your skin and use a handheld probe to capture clear, detailed images. Once the ultrasound is complete, your results will be sent directly to your referring provider for review. If you have any questions before or during your appointment, don't hesitate to ask. We’re here to help make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Ultrasound Exam Preparation & Instructions
To get the best results & experience from your ultrasound appointment, we recommend:

Drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment to increase amniotic fluid

Come in with a full bladder to improve image quality if you are less than 10-weeks gestation or are getting a Renal, Bladder, or Pelvic related ultrasound

Wearing loose, comfortable clothing for easy access to your abdomen.

Bringing a loved one to share in the excitement!

For abdominal ultrasounds we require a minimum of 8-hours of fasting (water only) prior to the appointment

Payment – All diagnostic ultrasounds are self-pay only. Payment is due in full at the time of service. We accept cash, credit, and debit cards and Apple pay.

Doctor’s Referral – A physician’s order is required for all diagnostic ultrasounds. Please have your referral sent to us before your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling – We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24-hour notice will be charged 50% of your appointment fee. No-call/no-show appointments will be charged 100% of the service fee.

Arrival Time – To help us keep appointments running smoothly and protect the privacy of all families, we ask that you arrive on time for your appointment and no more than 10 minutes early. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.

Results – Ultrasound images and reports will be sent directly to your referring provider. We do not provide diagnostic interpretations.
